For the sake of it, we have separate IPv6 metaserver. If you can and want to live in IPv6 universe, you may use it instead of default metaserver. Note that you are much more likely to find servers or players - which ever side you are looking after - by using default metaserver.

IPv6 Metaserver can naturally be used only if you have IPv6 connection. If the link below doesn't work for you, you probably have no IPv6 connection. Also, you need IPv6 capable version of Freeciv. First IPv6 capable version of Freeciv is 2.2, and even if you have new enough version, it might have been built without IPv6 functionality.
